Hello everyone, today i'm going to talk about much awaited event of developers all over the world, Google I/O 2019. Google I/O is only a few weeks away, and we don't really know a whole lot about what Google has up its sleeve this time.
What is Google I/O?
So basically google i/o is a developers annual conference where google announce there new updates about their products. in 2018, this event was held on 8th of May. In that year Google unveiled so many features such as Android P, Google assistance cameo voice, AR feature for google maps, google duplex technology etc. so as you can see, google tends to put a big show.
Google is going to put this show for the 12th time on 7th of may at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California. At the same time we can watch this event in Sri Lanka as Mobitel and Dialog is presenting a hosting event Google I/O 2019 Extended. Mobitel has already closed the registration as they received overwhelming response. But Dialog registration hasn't been opened yet. So stay tuned 😀.
So let's see what can we expect there.
There’s no official word on what Google will announce at its I/O conference, though the company has already posted the event hub along with a basic schedule.
But we’ll likely get to know a lot more details about the next version of Google’s operating system currently known as Android Q. Google released the first Android Q beta to Pixel phone users in March and followed that up with a second beta in April. According to Google's release schedule, we should expect to see another beta in early May, or right around the time of Google I/O. We expect to learn more about Android Q features, both currently available in Android Q, as well as unannounced features that will make an appearance at some point during this event. (Android Q Features)
Google recently announced the "future of gaming" in the form of its own cloud gaming platform called Stadia. It's designed to offer triple-A gaming instantly and potentially on every connected device available. We're still awaiting a price, but we're hoping to learn more about it at Google I/O 2019.
As well as we can expect new features from Gmail and Google Assistant as we saw in 2018 event. We might also see big software updates to other products, like Google Maps or Google Lens. There's even a chance that Google focuses on security and privacy in this year. so that's all for now. i will update this article if i get to know anything new.
Thank You!
