Rimac’s New Electric Hypercar

For who don't know Rimac it's a croatian car manufacturer that produce only electric hyper-cars. This is their second electric hyper-car. In the end of 2013 they started production of their first electric hyper-car (concept-one) and it was a huge success.

This first car had 330km range and it could do 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. In today standards its same as Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. But this new car, it can do 0 to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds. I don't think there is any gasoline powered stock car that can beat this in a 0 to 100 run. Tesla says their new roadster can do the same time but that car do not exist yet.

Rimac concept two was first shown at this year Geneva Motor Show. This monster of a car has 1,914hp. But concept one only had 1,073hp and  not only that Rimac says its 120 kWh battery enables over 640 km of range, witch means it can do 310km more than its predecessor. Rimac says the car comes with Level 4 autonomous capabilities. The sensor suite includes eight cameras, one or two LIDAR, six radar, 12 ultrasonic, and a partridge in a pear tree.

As all hyper-cars this is a very limited production too. Rimac said they will build only 150 copies of the Concept Two.
