Android will release their next Android version Android P in May 8 on Google I/O. You may be wondering about that because still many Android phones do not have Android Oreo. But still Android P is only available for Google owns Pixel phones only.
There is no word yet for exactly what P stand for. But it's pretty much sure that Android P will be the official Android 9.0 version. And it brings lot of features along with it.

- Support for Notches
Officially Android P would include support for the iPhone X-style notches.
- Turn-by-Turn Directions Indoors

In Android P transitions animations have changed.

Android P includes a toggle to adjust the ringer as well. With one tap, users can quickly toggle between "vibrate" and "mute."

Android P allows developers to access streams from two different physical cameras simultaneously using the multi-camera API.

There are two protocols HTTP and HTTPS. The main difference is that HTTPS is encrypted, which means your data is safe.

in order to restore your device with this data, users will first be required to input one of available authentication methods to "unlock" the data for usage.
- Lock-down Mode
Android P allows you to temporarily disable bio metric authentication methods and Smart Lock.
- Background Apps Won't Have Mic Access and Camera Access
Android P is preventing idle background apps from using your microphone and camera
- Alert Tone When Your Call Is Being Recorded
Android P will include an alert tone which informs all parties that the conversation is being record.
- Autofill in Browsers
Android P addresses this limitation and allows password managers like LastPass to populate login info into browsers.

Android P will include the ability to alter how LTE bars are displayed to users.

You can now edit your screenshots immediately after taking them.

Google introduces an additional way to take screenshots by using the Power Menu.
