Google Local guide
Users who review, add photos, answer questions or add new locations to the Map are rewarded with Guide Points. Contributors can improve their levels simply by posting information and earning points.
Each level also allows the Contributor to qualify for different events and activities within the Local Guide community.

There are ten levels and seven badges. Contributor can improve his or her Local guide level simply by earning Guide points.

- Eligible for Trusted Testing opportunities — access Google products and features before they are made public
- Apply to attend the Google Local Guides Level 5 summit
